Clickscapes Features

We are actively working to make Clickscapes the best visual user behavior analytics product on the market. We have built a number of important features into our current release and are excited about the features yet to come. If you have any questions about our feature roadmap please feel free to get in touch with our team to ask. Although we're not publicly releasing the roadmap at this time we are focused on delivering new features that will provide you the most helpful and interesting ways to view your website visitor data.

Collecting

We allow you to collect visitor clicks through three different methods intended to provide you with a solution that meets your unique needs:

  • AJAX via Passthrough Script
  • Form Submission
  • IFrame Submission
Each method of collection requires minimal impact on your website as no reporting files are greater than 5K in size. The AJAX via Passthrough Script method requires an additional PHP, ASP, or JSP script (depending on your system architecture and preference) while the other two methods requires only the single javascript import to be added to your site.

Organizing

Create and track multiple site pages specified by URL, lock down reporting sets that correspond to design changes so that only appropriate click data is displayed per design revision, and review click point numbers for each page under tracking.

Reviewing

Review Clickscapes reports using real-time visual overlays in XHTML. Adjust data set ranges and select or deselect elements to be factored into the density report display. Tweak heatmap intensity and opacity on the fly. Activate or deactivate metrics bounding boxes which show click data point counts and percentages within each element.

Display controls include:

  • heatmap intensity slider
  • heatmap opacity slider
  • date range filter
  • bounding boxes
  • element declusion selection
Reporting metrics include:
  • total number of click data points
  • data ranges of click data points
  • average seconds waited before clicking
  • per-element click count and percentage of total
  • visual element bounding boxes
  • visual representation of click densities within each element
